Content Strategy 2026

Ripples

A content strategy for Radical Mentoring. Building a library of stories that grows the movement, one conversation at a time.

The Podcast

One podcast episode generates 10-12 pieces of content across every platform. The podcast is the engine. Everything else flows from it.

Pete and Trey, co-hosting

Pete brings the vision, the founder's legacy, and 20+ years of mentoring experience. Trey brings the church relationships and the practical, on-the-ground perspective. Together they interview mentors, mentees, pastors, and thought leaders. Two guys and a guest at a coffee shop.

Ripples

One word. The campaign is the show, the show is the campaign. Add a subtitle for discoverability: "Ripples: A Mentoring Podcast."

Pull Up a Chair

Conversational, warm, inviting. Matches the energy of Pete and Trey sitting down with a guest. Sets the tone before anyone says a word.

Making Ripples

Active. Positions every guest as someone who started something. Natural episode intro: "Today we're sitting down with someone who's been making ripples..."

Format

Interview-driven, 25-35 minutes, biweekly. Each episode ends with a signature question: "What's one thing you wish someone had told you before you started mentoring?" Weekly cadence after 6 months if the pipeline supports it.

Distribution

  • Apple Podcasts and Spotify (audio)
  • YouTube (full video version)
  • Website (embedded, each episode gets a blog post)
  • Amazon Music, Google Podcasts (auto-distributed)
  1. "Why I Said Yes" • Pete tells his full story. Regi, the early days, becoming CEO.
  2. "What Happens in 9 Months" • A mentor/mentee pair walks through their full arc together.
  3. "I Almost Didn't Do It" • Mentors share the objections they had before starting.
  4. "The Pastor's Perspective" • A church leader explains why they brought RM to their church.
  5. "When Mentoring Saves a Marriage" • The marriage impact story, expanded.
  6. "From Mentee to Mentor" • Someone who completed the program and became a mentor.
  7. "The First Meeting" • Practical: what to say, how to prepare, how to set expectations.
  8. "Women in Mentoring" • Highlighting RM's women's program.
  9. "Small Church, Big Impact" • A church under 500 members that launched RM successfully.
  10. "100,000" • Pete casts vision for the goal. Where RM is headed.

Five categories. Everything falls under one.

If a piece of content doesn't fit a pillar, it probably shouldn't be made.

Where the content lives

Each platform has a specific job. Not everything goes everywhere.

YouTube

The Long Game

Content compounds here. Church leaders research here. SEO-first titles, custom thumbnails, playlists by pillar. Full podcast episodes (video) plus Shorts from clips.

2 long-form + 4-6 Shorts per month

Instagram

The Discovery Engine

Reels are the only post type shown to new people. 80% Reels, 15% carousels, 5% static. Story moments and mentor tips. Captions burned in.

3-4 Reels + 1 carousel per week

LinkedIn

The B2B Play

Where church leaders and nonprofit executives spend professional time. Pete's personal account leads (5-10x more reach than company pages). Leadership insights from mentoring.

Pete: 1-2 posts per week, 1 article per month

Website + Blog

The Permanent Library

Where content lives forever. Every podcast episode gets a blog post. SEO targeting: "how to start a mentoring program at church." Searchable, filterable resource hub.

2 posts per month (aligned with podcast)

One episode becomes twelve pieces

Record once. Distribute everywhere. Here's how one 30-minute podcast episode breaks down.
